From our headquarters in Vineland, NJ, F&S Fresh Foods distributes fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and meal solutions to a multitude of customers daily. Strategically and centrally located, our main hub has easy access to every major interstate on the Eastern Seaboard. With 650,000 square feet of devoted facilities, we process over 100 million pounds of produce annually for our retail, food service, and industrial customers alike. We have spent 40 years perfecting our production and safety processes, and our support and partnership have generated new possibilities for an array of customers from restaurants to convenience store chains to supermarket prepared food operations, and every high-volume fresh foods marketspace in between.

For 40 years and counting, our family has been in the business of growing. Now at 1,100 employees strong and with the second generation soon stepping up to lead, we have grown our enterprise from freshly rooted to fully flourishing. Just like the determined nature of the farm-tended vines themselves, our growth is unstoppable.
Looking back, it’s clear that the foundation of our business thrives with a deep sense of connection in place. For generation upon generation, our family has shared both a personal and professional commitment to advancing the fresh foods industry. Now, that same dedication has woven its way from our family dinner table to the tables and countertops of fresh produce consumers everywhere.
As a founder, let me be the first to share how meaningful it is to reflect on the growth we have been able to achieve. As time changes, perspective does too. In the early days as a grower, I used to make produce delivery drop-offs to the very same building we now own & operate as our main plant & headquarters. Now that I have been behind the wheel in an entirely different way, I can tell you firsthand that the drive to keep pushing this industry forward is stronger than ever.
That same driving force is what motivated us to establish natural extensions with our sister companies, Pipco Transportation and Mideastern Cold Storage. With their capabilities in place, we complete every link in the F&S supply chain. It’s important to us to maintain our authority from end to end as a full-service partner, because it allows us to measure up to our own high standards. Having total reach throughout the supply chain means that we can prioritize the highest levels of freshness and safety at every single stage of the process.

Our Milestones
1970s - Deeply rooted in southern New Jersey’s farming and family traditions, the Pipitones become providers of the land.
1970s - Sam Pipitone Jr. follows the footprints of his father and grandfather into the family farming business, soon to become F&S Produce Co. Inc.
1970s - We invest in our first fleet of trucks, now our sister transportation company, Pipco.
1988 - Sam founds F&S Produce in what is now known as our Plant 1 building. Starting from zero, he grows F&S Fresh Foods into an enterprise that currently processes over 100 million pounds of fruits and vegetables, sourcing locally when available.
2012 - Operating a fleet of more than 50 refrigerated tractor trailers and servicing a 600+ mile radius along the east coast, Pipco Transportation grows into a regional long-haul trucking enterprise.
2017 - Our VP of Operations, Don Rogers III, joins his wife Lauren Pipitone Rogers, along with Salvatore (Sam) Pipitone Jr. and Sam Pipitone III to showcase our ever-expanding variety of products and brands.
2018 - Operations officially begin inside our new Vineland, NJ headquarters.
2021 - Sam prepares the next generation to lead the businesses he has grown over the decades.
